My parents met in 1969. My dad was 18 and my mom was 17. Before my parents met, my dad's sister Cheekie and brother Stephen was dating my mom. My father also knew my mother's brother because he played guitar together.
In 1969, Christmas Day, Cheekie was at Stephen's house (where my mother lived as well.) My grandfather asked my father to go to the home of Stephen andCheekie pick. When my father went to pick up Cheekie, met my mother. Immediately, my dad wanted to know my mom. He asked to go see a movie. She said no. After Christmas, my father came home from my mom. He asked to go see a movie. She said yes. quickly fell in love.
